Fans of Star Wars they will certainly be excited about this early 2021 and what the future holds for them for their beloved series of films and more. The excellent second season of the spin-off ended "The Mandalorian“, Tomorrow Tuesday 5 January the novel by Light of the Jedi, the first product of the High Republic. Furthermore, returning again to the small screen, the start of filming of the series dedicated to the protagonist Obi-WanKenobi, entitled Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi, have finally been announced and confirmed.
This source is provided to us by a well-known insider of the Star Wars universe, Corey Van Dyke, almost always a sure source of news or statements. Through a tweet published on his social profile (which you can find at the bottom of the article), he has in fact stated that the start of filming of the TV series dedicated to the beloved character of Obi-Wan Kenobi will also begin on the day of tomorrow, Tuesday 5st January. Not only that, the locations of the various sets seem to be two in particular: the first is London, in the United Kingdom, while the second is Boston, in the United States of America. The first take, which will mark the start of the works, therefore seems to have been brought forward by about two months. In fact, it was initially planned for the period of March, a change that will almost certainly give a breath of good humor to the whole crew.
Within the show we will find Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader and possibly Temuera Morrison as Cody. The TV series, set in 9 BBY (ten years after the proclamation of the Empire) will be directed by Deborah Chow, already known to fans for directing episodes three and seven of the first season of The Mandalorian. Obviously, the show will be released on the well-known Disney platform, Disney +, in an unspecified period of 2022.
