State of Play: according to Dusk Golem there will be no talk of Resident Evil Village

Some hours ago Sony announced the official date of the State of Play di August, to be held on August 6th, 2020. Since then, many have been wondering what titles will be talked about during the event. Many fans immediately turned to the insider Dusk Golem (AestheticGamer) through your account Twitter, curious to find out some more information. To the specific question regarding horror games, the insider initially stated that he had no certainty about it, but that he had made some assumptions. According to him, there was a possibility - given the presence of announcements about the PlayStation VR - that he was presented Resident Evil 8: Village.

Not know, I know some announcements that are slated to happen but I haven't heard specifically when what will end up appearing.

Unfortunately, shortly after he had the certainty that there will be no talk of the horror franchise during the State of Play. To date, the only information we have regarding this title is a short trailer posted on Youtube and some clues regarding the demo (for example, it has recently been discovered that the mysterious woman in the trailer is called Morgana).

I didn't say that, but it won't be appearing at next Thursday's event. I was already suspecting that as I hadn't heard anything about it appearing though I'm keeping tabs on it.

A possible disappointment for fans of resident evil, who were expecting some little more information. We are sure though that it will not be a disappointing event, and as usual we will not fail to keep you updated on all the news they will announce.
