Stranger Things 4: David Harbor is unsure about his character's future

The fourth season of Strangher Things, one of the most popular series by users Netflix, is ready to kick off the start of filming for the new episodes. For now, what we know about it, is that the adventures of Will, Mike, Undi, Dustin e Lucas they will also be set outside the confines of Hawkins; there are those who speak precisely of Russia and a possible Russian counterpart of the young protagonist Eleven.

Recently, however, the actor David Harbour (known on the series as the Sheriff Jim Hopper) was interviewed by The Wrap where he talked about the future of his character:

“The Duffer brothers showed me the arc of the season and right after that we got the script for the eighth episode a few months before shooting it. I remember when I read that episode I was completely unaware of some kind of Russian structure or a demogorgon inside it along with 'an American'. When I read it I immediately said it was fantastic. I truly believed I was 'that American', but to date I have had no contact with the production regarding the fourth season of the TV series. I can't tell you if I'm really dead or if I'm still alive. I honestly thought I was going to stay alive, but there was no discussion about it. Now I have a lot of doubts about my character ”.

For those who don't remember, in the post-credit scene of the third season, inside a secret Russian base located in Kamchatka, two soldiers spoke of "an American" inside one of the cells. Many of us believed it was Hop, but unfortunately not even the leading actor is so sure of it anymore.

Please note that Stranger Things 4 will be released later this year only on Netflix.
