Through a message released on its official website, one of the most famous and appreciated animation studios in the world, Studio Ghibli, the news of new future plans for the company was announced. More precisely, two new films could be released during this year. Unfortunately at the moment we do not know what works they are, nor if they will actually be released during the year; the only thing that seems to be sure is that one of the two jobs appears to be How do you Live by the award-winning director Hayao Miyazaki.
This second project not yet announced, given the presence of a feature film currently under construction, could even be a short film. However, both works, as we anticipated, do not currently have an official release date.
Hayao Miyazaki's new film, How do you live, however, is expected to be released in Japan later this year, more precisely in time for Tokyo 2020 Olympics. The work, based on the book of the same name written by Genzaburo Yoshino, is about a man called Koperu and his uncle intent on telling the way humans live.
