Super Nintendo World Direct: all the news presented

One of the most curious projects in which the famous Japanese company has put its hand, at least in recent months, is probably Super Nintendo World. This section of the famous park Universal Studios Japan has been in the works for several years, but we finally have an online public presentation lasting about fifteen minutes.

Shigeru Miyamoto, who personally oversaw the realization of this project, acts as presenter for the occasion and starts talking about some of them activity inherent to the park. The entrance is structured to show not only the interior of the series' iconic green pipes, but also to remember the Peach's castle of the historic Super Mario 64. As soon as you leave this area, the visitor finds himself in a reconstruction of the kingdom of mushrooms, where you can then access the various activities. Unlike what has been revealed by some concept art of 2017, the Super Nintendo World is currently dedicated uniquely to the Super Mario universe. Obviously, in fifteen minutes the legendary designer fails to present all the various activities of the park. However, he manages to deepen some of them such as the Mario Kart Koopa's Challenge of Bowser's castle, the POW block challenge or the underground labyrinth. All these activities are needed to be able to earn points on the mobile app dedicated, accumulated thanks to convenient bracelets delivered at the entrance, so as to be able to access the final battle against Bowser Jr. Finally, the presence of the shopping and catering areas cannot be missed. The first of these sections includes gods exclusive gadgets while, in the second, it is possible to observe the Toad in the kitchen as well as eating gods truly unique and special dishes.

The Super Nintendo World is currently slated to open on February 4 2021 at Universal Studios Japan, but construction is already planned in other areas of the world such as Hollywood, California, Orlando and Singapore. Unfortunately, the construction of the park in Europe is not yet planned, but hopefully there will be some implications in this regard for the future.
