One of the biggest cult films of the 80s is ready to return to the cinema in better shape than ever. 35 years have passed since the first cinematic appearance of The Goonies (released in theaters in the distant 1985), and to celebrate this milestone the film will return to the big screen in version remastered in 4K in the days of 9 and 10 December only to revive the magic of a product that has marked an entire generation.
We now live in an era marked by numerous reboots and remakes of films, although, also given the numerous successes of TV series and films set in the atmosphere of the 80s, it seems at least necessary to reproduce one of the undisputed masterpieces born from the director's idea. Steven Spielberg.
As many of you know, the film tells the adventures of a group of boys in search of a mysterious treasure; like any self-respecting adventure, it will be full of unexpected events but also full of magic and mystery that will accompany young adventurers through numerous challenges.
The cast of the film will be composed and played by Sean Astin (Mickey Walsh), Josh Brolin (Brand Walsh), Jeff Cohen (Chunk), Corey Feldman (Clark “Mouth”) and Jonathan Ke Quan (Data).
