The Initiative: Sixteen developers of popular titles join the team

Among the teams previously presented by Xbox Game Studios we can also find The Initiative, the studio that, although it has not yet officially presented the title, currently working, over the last few months has made a lot of talk about itself. This is also due to the presence in the development team of numerous people with rather interesting curriculums, coming from Rockstar Games, Naughty Dog, Sony, Insomniac Games, Electronic Arts, BioWare, Square Enix and many other well-known development studies. In the last few days, the names of sixteen other personalities have been announced who will join the development team, and who will join the most recent hires, including the senior systems designer Justin Perez, formerly in Respawn and the senior gameplay engineer Francisco Aisa Garcia, formerly in N.

This was announced by the head of the studio Darrell Gallagher, publishing the results of The Initiative's new round of hires on the software house's LinkedIn profile. Although most of the developers have been involved in the development of quite famous titles, two of the biggest names are Remi Lacoste, former game director of Shadow of the Tomb Raider e Marvel's Avengers, Christine thompson, former lead writer of Star Trek Online and Destiny 2. Lacoste is currently being considered a director at The Initiative, while Thompson is the lead author. Of course, at the moment we still don't know anything about the project The Initiative is working on, other than the fact that Microsoft is advertising the latter as a prestige studio building titles with standard "quadruple A" and that it is working on a completely original IP. We therefore just have to wait for more information on the development study and the mysterious title currently in the works for Xbox Series X, of which at the moment we have very little information available.
