The Mandalorian: Simon Pegg would like to star in the series

The success of The Mandalorian it is undeniable: the branded TV series Disney + set in the Star Wars universe it has totaled millions of plays and a second season has been announced, already in production. The series boasts several characters who have already become iconic and many more will be introduced in the new episodes. With a success of this caliber it is therefore quite obvious that several actors will show their interest in this series.

In particular, Simon Pegg, interpreter of Unkar Plutt in Star Wars: The awakening of the Force he would like to lend his face to Dengar, a character he has already voiced in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars series and in the Star Wars: Battlefront video game. In this regard, the actor stated:

I've talked about it a couple of times, but surely, if Taika [Waititi, director] and [series creator Jon] Favreau decide to bring Dengar to The Mandalorian, then I have some form [of experience] in the past after playing him in Star Wars. : Battlefront and The Clone Wars.
I'm just saying I heard they just hired Katee Sackhoff to play a character who wasn't in the movies, but she had already played him in another Star Wars thing.

We remind you that the American actress Kathryn Ann “Katee” Sackhoff, former interpreter of Bo-Katan in Star Wars: Rebellious, will return to play the role of the same character in The Mandalorian and it is therefore not to be excluded that Simon Pegg may also have the same fate. At the moment, the second season of The Mandalorian does not yet have an official release date, but we know that it will arrive at October 2020.
