Those Who Remain: Camel 101 could think of a sequel

In the last few days our editorial team has had the opportunity to interview Bruno e Ricardo Cesteiro, by the team of Camel 101, on their latest effort: the horror title Those who remain. During our chat with the founders of the studio, really interesting details emerged about their game, ranging from the classic sources of inspiration, up to highlighting the main concepts around which the whole story of the protagonist Edward revolves. However, among the answers to the questions we asked, there was one that aroused particular interest: during our exchange of words in fact, we asked the two if the team had some sort of sequel planned for their game, and even if the answer was not so strong, it is understood that the will would be there:

What is the duration of the game? Do you think there will be a sequel?

It depends on the player and his style of play, but what we've seen so far mirrors between 6 and 9 hours. There won't be a direct sequel, as this game focuses on Edward, and his story will end there. However there is the possibility to move the action to other places or characters. Without trespassing into spoiler territory, the phenomenon that plagues the fictional town of Dormont can affect other places as well.

From their words it is clear that the events that take place in the game would be replicable in other parts of the country, or perhaps the world, and it is therefore natural to think that the team is teased by this idea, precisely by creating new characters, new plots and exploring new locations.

We remember that their statements are far from being an announcement, and therefore we specify that there is currently no such project in the production phase. Surely the tip of the balance could be how successful Those Who Remain will be in the coming months.
