Toyama: The creator of Silent Hill is inspired by his work for a new game

In a recent video interview published on the young development company's official YouTube channel, Keiichiro Toyama, founder, CEO and Creative Director of Bokeh Game Studio, has released some statements about his new project currently in the works. The creator of Silent Hill, Siren and Gravity Rush emphasized the careful response in analyzing the possible directions that the new project should have followed, building on his previous works. In the end, a video game was chosen "Dark, much more than my recent titles", as stated by Toyama himself. The direction taken by the new project is undoubtedly based on the experience that the developer has acquired by giving life to Silent Hill, in particular, as can be understood from his statements:

It's like I'm going back to my roots, to horror. My view of horror is that it has to be able to shake everyday life. Normal people are then pushed into irrational situations.

During the video, reported at the bottom of the news, it is possible to see some creepy concept art, between one frame and another. The CEO of Bokeh Game Studio further stated that he recently did a travel to Asia and the feeling of evolution and energy that he felt from being in contact with the people of the place he visited. Toyama therefore hopes to be able to reconstruct some of these sensations within the game. The new Bokeh Game Studio project does not yet have an official name, nor even a generic launch window. Toyama, however, expressed himself about the possibility that the title could see the light at least in 2023, as we have had the opportunity to tell you here.
