Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 will be postponed, but with a release in 2020

In the past few hours it was announced on the official website dedicated to Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, that the title will be postponed at a later date in 2020. In the official press release, the software house stated that it needs more time to be able to offer fans, old and new, the experience they expect. The previous title, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, was released in the "distant" 2004 for PC. We report below when told by Andy kipling e Brian mitsoda:

There is a responsibility to avoid some of the problems that plagued the first game, which was famously launched too early. In recent months, it has become clear that sticking to our starting date would risk making the same mistake again. In the end we won't, everyone working on the game wants to deliver the best Bloodlines 2 possible.

Over the past three and a half years, we've been working hard to offer fans a worthy successor to Bloodlines 1. For us it meant not only fulfilling the ambitions of this amazing title, but we will have to ensure we don't make the same mistakes as in the past. Today, we need to communicate that we need more time to get you the game you've been waiting for. Despite everything, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 will continue to be released in 2020.
