Will Fantasian be Sakaguchi's last game? Talk about the dad of Final Fantasy

The creator of final Fantasy, Hironobu Sakaguchi, said his next role-playing game for iOS, Fantasian, it could be his final project. In fact, in a recent interview, the historic designer commented on the previous statements of his long-time collaborator Nobuo Uematsu, who claimed to have probably completed his final full score with Fantasian, due to unspecified health issues. Fantasian could therefore be the final fantasy of the two historical creators.

I think it's certainly possible that this could be my latest project, and this was already a bit on my mind as we were developing it. We are currently working on the finishing touches for Part 2 of Fantasian and things are finally starting to calm down, I would say. To be perfectly honest with you, I haven't thought much about the next steps for the company or where we want to go, and I think I might use some time to take a vacation between now and whatever we do next. So we'll see what happens, remains to be seen.

The founder of Mistwalker, who has worked on many acclaimed RPGs such as Chrono Trigger and Kingdom Hearts, said he approached Fantasian as if it were his last full title, and suggested that the plans of the software house beyond the two scheduled episodes of the game have yet to be clearly defined, and that we will soon have new news on the state of development of the title.

Fantasian will come out on Apple Arcade and is described as an RPG set against a background made up of over 150 handmade dioramas that blend physical environments and 3D characters. Fantasian could therefore really be the last project that will close the amazing career of this extraordinary developer, who has given the world one of the most important Jrpg titles ever, which is about to reach its sixteenth chapter.
