    According to what emerged in the past few hours, Pro Evolution Soccer, the iconic football brand of Konami may soon make its debut on Nintendo Switch. The "confirmation" would come from the fact that the Japanese giant intends to "revolutionize" the game engine, no longer relying on Fox engine, initially praised by the same publisher, but toUnreal Engine di epic Games. PES 2014 was the first game to take advantage of the Fox engine, only to be used in the last chapters of the famous Metal Gear series and, although it was celebrated for its extraordinary graphics, it apparently did not have the ability to "adapt" the popular football title on Nintendo's hybrid console.



    The transition toUnreal Engine di epic Games seems to have offered this option which, according to recent statements by the Latin American brand manager of PES, Ron Robbye, the new graphics engine will help the development team to be more flexible and versatile, allowing the arrival of PES also on “new” platforms available on the market. At the moment there has been no official confirmation from Konami on the upcoming debut of PES on the Nintendo Switch. Also, we remind you that the new eFootball PES 2021 it will be "simply" a seasonal update di PES 2020, available on PS4, Xbox One and PC starting next 15 September 2020 at the price of 29,99 €.
