All this information translates into typical next-gen features such as Ray-Tracing and Variable Rate Shading; Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) which will increase the speed of controller inputs and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) of the new HDMI 2.1 standard.



    As for instead of Xbox series s, although the basic features have been disclosed, the more technical ones have not yet been fully disseminated. What we can tell you is that inside there will be an 8-core CPU with 16 threads Zen 2 with a clock frequency of 3,8 GHz; one 20 RDNA 2.0 CU @ 15.550 GHz Navi GPU; 10GB of GDDR6 RAM; Frame rate available up to 120 fps and a resolution of 1440p with upscaling to 4K; there will be no optical reader (fully All-Digital version) and will mount a 512GB NVMe SSD. All the main features typical of the next-gen that we wrote above will be shared even by the smallest console that Microsoft has ever created.
