Bend Studio: after Days Gone, possible remake of Siphon Filter in the future?

The development house Bend Studio, known at the moment for the next IP being released, or the much talked about Days Gone, is actually the mother of another very interesting title, Syphon Filter, third-person shooter released exclusively for PlayStation back in 1999.

The slice of fans who greatly appreciated Bend Studio's stealth action was actually quite voluminous, and there are still many fans who are still asking for a remake of the title on next-generation consoles.

In a long interview written by Eurogamer, John Garvin was therefore questioned - among many things - about the possible future of the series, and the creative director expressed himself on the matter by explaining that:

“I like this question, because I was both the writer and director of all the titles in the Siphon Filter series. I love Siphon Filter, but we've been really focused on Days Gone. When this is finally released and I can take a little relaxation… well, I'll think about it. Never say never!"

Although Garvin's words do not leave much hope for a possible remake of the series, it cannot be excluded that in the future some titles may be re-proposed as an exclusive on Sony consoles. What do you think of Siphon Filter? Would you like to review the saga on next-generation consoles?
