Escape Studios announced on its official Facebook page the cover art and the name of her new board game. Named Boogeyman (literally, "the black man"), already from the appearance of the sales package you can see how the game is characterized by a horror-style setting, like other board games made by the company such as, for example, Tales of Evil. The latter is a board game set in the 80s in which up to six players will have to investigate in cooperative mode and help the detectives of the club called Pizza & Investigation.
The game managed to stand out from the myriad of board games on the market thanks to the so-called Fusion System which, breaking the so-called "fourth wall", allows you to identify with history by performing different kinds of actions in the real world. For example, it is required to actually send e-mails to certain e-mail addresses in order to receive information with which to continue the adventure and help the club.
As with Tales of Evil, Boogeyman will soon land on Kickstarter in order to obtain funds with which to finance the development and publication of the project. We just have to wait for new information from the creator Antonio Ferrara to find out the first details about the peculiar characteristics of this mysterious board game.
