Dead Space 3 - Unlockable Game Modes Guide [360-PS3-PC]

 

Dead Space 3 comes to our consoles with different game modes. Let's see what they are, how they unlock and what they unlock.

Here are the different game modes present in Dead Space 3 and what are the differences between one and the other.

New Game + mode: To unlock this mode, complete Dead Space 3 on any difficulty level. In the new game you will keep everything you have accumulated in the first game, but obviously you will start the game again.

Classic Mode: To unlock this mode, complete Dead Space 3 on any difficulty level. This mode incorporates the classic style of Dead Space, the original spirit of the series. The story remains a solo affair as the co-op will be disabled. It includes only classic weapons and does not involve resource management. The difficulty is set to hard.

Survival mode: To unlock this mode, complete Dead Space 3 on any difficulty level. In this game mode the enemies do not drop anything but resources, so you will have to get ammo, life and weapons exclusively using the work table and the collected resources. The difficulty is set to hard.

Extreme Mode: To unlock this mode, complete Dead Space 3 on any difficulty level. In this mode in checkpoint they work normally (unlike Dead Space 2 where you could only save 3 times in the whole game), but it is not possible to die, as the first game over you will be forced to start all over again. The difficulty is set to hard. Completing the game on this difficulty will unlock Retro mode.

Retro mode: To unlock this mode, complete Dead Space 3 by playing in Extreme mode. Retro mode adds a special graphic filter to the game.
