Deathloop will have a "rich" campaign, official confirmation arrives

DeathloopThe new work Arkane Studios output on PlayStation 5 e PC il May 21 2021, has remained somewhat mysterious until today. Despite the many gameplay shown - mainly related to the multiplayer sector - there was not much room to delve into the story that will connect the many characters presented. However, on the occasion of an interview with IGN, the game director Dinga Bakaba talked about the game's campaign in more depth, calling it "rich" than Dishonored (saga of the same studio) and also "more replayable". Here are the more specific words about it:

There is a rich single player campaign. The start of the game is a bit static, you are a guy trying to figure out what the island is on. At some point the game opens, and you find yourself with different runs. I think it's a big campaign, with a lot of investigation. There is a world to interact with, four timelines, as many districts that you can explore with pleasant variations. Everyone has their little story during the day. The morning, for example, is quite calm because the party is just starting, but by the end of the game it's a real chaos, with trash and graffiti everywhere, but the next day it starts again. It is nice to see the evolution of the districts.

There is a lot in terms of both gameplay and optional vignette narrative that the player can discover by exploring the map. We love space exploration, but there is also the discovery of time. I think it's a very rich game, even if you limit yourself to the investigation and try to break the time loop, it is comparable to our previous titles. But there is a lot more to try and experience in Deathloop. Juliana's point of view is also present, as you can take over her and invade other players' games for fun. It is not actually a competitive mode based on who wins and who loses, but it is designed to create good stories. I think there are several hours to play for those who want to try their hand at the game.

We remind you that, despite ZeniMax (and consequently Deathloop) are about to be acquired by the division Xbox, the game will be an exclusive PlayStation console until 2022, and it is therefore possible that the work will also arrive later on Xbox Series X / S.
