Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition, here's Vergil in action

Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition, here's Vergil in action

Now very little is missing for the arrival of Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition, which is an enriched and improved version of the original Capcom game released in March 2019. The official channel of the title has released a long video ShowCase showing us the character of Vergil in action, anti-hero he will reach Dante Alighieri on current consoles with a slight delay compared to next-gen versions, or the next 15th December, about a month later than the new consoles.

The gameplay video showed us the son of Sparda in action, as he defeats hordes of enemies by deepening his long repertoire of moves and weapons: Yamato, Beowulf, and Mirage. The showcase showed many of the combos that Dante's brother can do, especially based on his different styles. The duration of his attacks depends on how much the concentration gauge is filled during the fight. Vergil can also spend part of his bar Sin Devil to perform finishing moves based on the weapon he has equipped. With Yamato, for example, he will use the Judgment Cut End, very useful against the final bosses. With Mirage Edge, he executes a Vortex-like piercing lunge attack, and with Beowulf, he executes a much more powerful version of Volcano, which produces a powerful explosion around him. While powerful, these techniques require Vergil to be at least at level 3 concentration. His Devil Trigger instead it will make him summon his own Doppelganger. This will perform Vergil's attacks, especially Yamato's, and can be set to attack with four different settings.

The gameplay video, being a combat video, also showed many of the enemies we will encounter during our adventure. We remind you that the digital version of Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition will accompany the new generation consoles at the launch, respectively on 10 November for Xbox Series X e Xbox series s, and November 19 for PlayStation 5, while for the retail version we will have to wait another couple of weeks, on 1 December.
