El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron is ready to return in the PC version

Many of you will certainly remember a little gem released back in 2011 on consoles Xbox 360 e PlayStation 3, developed by Ignition Entertainment, bearing the name of El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron. An action / adventure title, strongly influenced by fantasy atmospheres, which has been able to perfectly combine 2D and 3D mechanics and merge them into an energetic combat system. This beautiful and acclaimed gameplay experience and more, after about a decade, is ready to return again and soon, through an updated version, directly on the platform Steam, exclusive PC.

Developed by the Tokyo team led by Sawaki Takeyasu (Devil May Cry, Steel Battalion, Okami, Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, Infinite Space, God Wars, The Lost Child), El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron will finally be making a comeback shortly. Through a stunning and evocative artistic and technical sector, players will have to exploit the varied fighting skills and master a range of powerful “celestial” weapons under the guidance of the Archangels. It has been 10 years since El Shaddai was released on PS3 and Xbox 360 and we have been constantly asked by PC gamers and fans of the game for its release on this platform, and we are excited to announce its arrival on Steam very soon!

At the moment we have very little information: a launch window or a well-specified date, as well as i technical requirements (which certainly should not be very high), are not among those received. However, the software house has decided to release the first ones two official images of the game that you can find here at the end of the article. Considering the didactic statement "very soon" enunciated by Takeyasu Sawaki, further information will certainly be disclosed soon, we just have to wait a little longer and find out all the news about it.
