Elden Ring: leaks could delay the reveal scheduled for March [UPDATED]

Some major leaks of Elden Ring, especially regarding the gameplay trailer. This event could delay the reveal of the new title FromSoftware. To declare it is Jeff Grubb di VentureBeat's during the first episode of his podcast The Game Mess Show, which aims to constantly update about the background on upcoming games and events. In his opinion Bandai Namco originally planned a reveal for March, but that could be postponed due to the well-known leak. He has declared:

I'm less sure about an Elden Ring reveal in March, and I'm less certain because the leaks may have messed things up a little. [...] The reason why I think the leaks may have messed things up a little, it's simply because I think Bandai Namco is cracking down, trying to figure out how to fix the message, making sure they understand how the leak happened… and then they're on their way to the game's official announcement.

Unfortunately, you may have to wait a little longer to see official game updates. However, something could be shown to the next E3, this again according to Grubb:

There will be opportunities for them for an Elden Ring reveal. And if they don't want to do it themselves (and they could do it themselves) but if they don't want to do it themselves, June isn't far away. E3 is coming. I would say if that if I were going to put it on the list, I would expect it for E3 and not later.

Recall that Elden Ring is the new game from FromSofware, which sees the collaboration of George RR Martin, the author of the books of the Game of Thrones. Not much is known about the product yet, but we still have some information always extrapolated from leaks. The gameplay will be very close to that of Dark Souls, but with a larger map. Furthermore, it should be based on Norse mythology with some elements of Celtic one.

UPDATE: according to the well-known insider LanceMCDonald, the possible postponement of the Elden Ring trailer is false, as it is a simple maneuver aimed at justifying the leaks that will not be confirmed during this month.

Elden Ring was never going to be revealed in March and the leaks haven't caused any plans to change. People are just using the leaks as an excuse as for why their inaccurate predictions aren't coming true.
