    One of the most interesting new features of FEAR 3 are the challenges. Whether playing the single player campaign or multiplayer mode the way you get rid of enemies can earn you points which in turn will allow you to level up.

    The challenges are many and range from totaling a certain number of kills with a particular weapon, to reaching a certain time limit while being in cover or using the slow motion, and so on.

    There are several achievements and trophies that require a good knowledge of the challenges to be unlocked. To achieve high scores in an interval (level) you must learn to perform multiple actions at the same time that contribute to the completion of multiple challenges.

    Let's explain better: by making a kill with the gun you will only advance in the challenge that asks you to reach 20 kills with that weapon. But if you do that same kill with a headshot, using slow motion and being in cover, you will have put a +1 on four different challenges. This is important since the enemies are not infinite.

    Having said that, below is the list of all the challenges with relative points earned, it will help you to complete as many as possible.



    The Killer: 50 kills in a row - 5000
    Hard boiled: 100 kills in a row - 10,000
    Available in Intervals 2 - 7. You don't have to die and reload the checkpoint between kills up to 50 or 100. 

    Sweet Science: Kill 15 enemies with any melee attack - 3500
    Available in all Intervals.

    And you, Brute?: Kill 3 enemies with the melee attack from behind - 2000
    Available in all Intervals. The enemy must not notice you. Use slow motion or flash grenades to get behind enemies.

    Pop Gun: 20 kills with Strader Mk. VII (pistol) - 4500
    Available in all Intervals.

    The Standard: 25 kills with the Briggs SMG - 3000
    Available in all Intervals. It is the standard shotgun that you will find everywhere in the first half of the game

    Assault Pro: 25 kills with the G3A3 - 3000
    Available from range 4 to 8. You will rarely find it in the first half of the game while it will be the standard weapon in the second half of the game.

    Bullet Hose: 20 kills with the double MP-970 - 3500
    Available in Intervals 3 and 7. It is the only dual weapon. You will find it only in some places of the two mentioned intervals.


    Butcher: 20 kills with the EL-10 CRS - 4500
    Available in all Intervals. It is the shotgun and is found very often in all levels.


    Ghost: 15 kills with the Schuller LDR50 - 4000
    Available in Intervals 2, 4 and 5. It is the sniper rifle.

    Ventilation Expert: 25 kills with the S-HV Penetrator - 5000
    Available in Intervals 5 and 7.

    Like a Hurricane: 3 kills with the Goliath - 4000
    Available in Intervals 2 and 7. It is the rocket launcher. You will find it only in two places in the game.

    Laser Pointer: 10 kills with the Arc Beam - 5000
    Available in Intervals 5, 6 and 7.

    Quiet riot: 10 kills with the Riot Gear - 3500
    Available in Intervals 5 and 7. It is the anti-riot gear. It appears only in two places in the game.

    Hot potato: 10 kills with frag grenades - 3500
    Available in all Intervals.

    The Shocker: 3 kills with Shock Grenades - 1500
    Available in Intervals 2, 4, 5 and 7.

    Indecent Exposure: Stun 5 enemies with the Flash Grenades - 2500
    Available in all Intervals. Also use them to carry out back kills.

    Slaughter: Kill 20 enemies using Power Armor or Enhanced Power Armor without exiting - 5500
    Available in ranges 4 and 6.


    What ?!:
    Attack (melee) or crush 5 enemies with Power Armor or Enhanced PA - 2500
    Available in ranges 4 and 6.


    Little Brother: FE: 20 kills with Fettel Blast -10,000
    Available playing as Fettel. Use RT (R2 on PS3) to kill the enemies


    Headhunter: 25 Headshots - 2500
    Executioner:
    50 Headshots - 5000
    Available in all Intervals. Kill enemies with headshots.

    Household: 3 kills with a single explosion - 5000
    Available in all Intervals. In addition to grenades, any other explosive object can be used.

    Detonation Expert: 5 Explosive Object Kills - 3000
    Available in many ranges. Shoot barrels, cylinders, and any other explosives near enemies.

    Covert Op: 10 kills while in cover - 3000
    Cover-Up Artist: 25 kills while in cover - 6000
    Available in all Intervals. Get into cover using the B button (circle on PS3)

    Pitching A Tent: Use coverage for a total of 100 seconds - 1000
    Sir Camp-A-Lot: Use coverage for a total of 200 seconds - 1500
    Available in all Intervals. Attention the accumulated seconds can NOT necessarily be consecutive.

    Nimble Killer: 5 kills immediately after Mantle techniques - 1500
    Parkour Deadly: 10 kills immediately after Mantle techniques - 3000
    Available in all Intervals. Mantle techniques are contextual actions activated with the X button (square on PS3) (such as jumping barriers, climbing crates, and so on). Kill an enemy after these actions to progress the challenge.

    Slideshot: 10 kills immediately after a Slide Kick - 2500
    Available in all Intervals. The Slide Kick is done by pressing R3 (the key for the melee attack) while running.

    Invincible: 10 kills in a row without taking damage - 5000
    Godlike: 20 kills in a row without taking damage - 10000
    I recommend doing it in interval 3 at the point where a lot of psychos are faced.

    Gatherer: 15 grenades or ammunition collected - 500
    Junk Collector: 30 grenades or ammunition collected - 1000
    Collection Agent: 60 grenades or ammunition collected - 2000
    Available in all Intervals. A good way to make a lot of them is to have maximum ammo for a weapon and when you find ammo on the ground for that same weapon, fire a single shot and then approach the ammo to get them, one at a time. They will be counted as a single refill.

    Death From Below!: 3 kills during 1 Last Stand - 1500
    Available in all Intervals. It can only be done in a cooperative. Take enough damage until you get to the Last Stand condition and then kill 3 enemies before getting back up.

    Pick-Up Artist: Perform 3 quick revives on your brother - 3000
    Available in all Intervals. It can only be done in a cooperative. When your brother takes enough damage and is knocked down, revive him.

    Helping Hand: 15 Assists - 3000
    Harm Aid: 30 Assists - 6000
    Available in all Intervals. It can only be done in a cooperative. To perform an assist, you must shoot an enemy hit by your brother and let him kill him.

    Supersonic: 30 kills during slow motion - 5000
    Hypersonic: 50 kills during slow motion-  10,000

    Perfect Soldier: 3 headshots during a single slow motion - 3000

    Slow Your Roll!: 5 kills during a single slow motion --4500

    Highlight Reel: 3 kills from with 3 different melee attacks during a single slow motion -  3000
    It means you have to use 3 different melee attack animations i.e. a knife attack from behind, a front knife attack and finally a slide kick (run + melee) or jump kick (jump + melee)

    All in the Reflexes!: 60 seconds in total in slow motion - 2500
    Nothin or Double: 60 seconds in total in slow motion - 3500

    Big Spender: Fully consumes the slow motion bar 3 times - 1500

    Borrowed Time: (Fettel) 30 total kills with a possessed body - 5000
    Rent to OWN!: (Vettel) 50 total kills with a possessed body - 10,000
    Showing Off: (Vettel) 5 headshots during a body possession - 3000
    Time Efficient: (Vettel) 15 kills while possessing a body - 4500

    Enemy Within: (Vettel) 5 suicide kills - 1500
    To commit suicide with Fettel, own a body and then press Y (circle on PS3).

    Body Snatcher: (Vettel) 60 seconds in total owning a body - 2500
    Head Intruder: (Vettel) 240 seconds in total owning a body - 3500

    Extended Stay: (Vettel) Stay in a single body for 2 minutes - 3000
    Own a body and avoid dying for 2 minutes

    Damage Resistant: Point Man absorbs 300 total damage while Fettel activates the shield - 5000
    It can only be done in a cooperative. Fettel must aim at Point Man and activate the shield with LT (L2 on PS3) while Point Man takes a great deal of damage. You will get points as both Point Man and Fettel.

    Hangman: Point Man Kills 15 suspended enemies - 5000
    It has to be done in a cooperative. Fettel suspends an enemy and Point Man kills him. You will get points as both Point Man and Fettel. You will get points as both Point Man and Fettel.

    The Crusher: Fettel kills 5 enemies with special slow motion - 5000
    It has to be done in a cooperative. Pointman must use slow motion as Fettel kills 5 enemies with his melee attack. You will get points as both Point Man and Fettel.

    This Isnt so Hard!: Fettel kills 15 enemies during slow motion - 5000
    It has to be done in a cooperative. While Point Man activated slow motion Fettel kills enemies. You will get points as both Point Man and Fettel.

    Solo Psychic Link: 1500
    At the beginning of the game you will learn how to mentally bond with some dead enemy bodies. Each time you will get these points

    Shared Psychic Link: 1000
    It has to be done in a cooperative. It is always about making a mental link, but selecting the specific option present in the cooperative mode. You will get points as both Point Man and Fettel.

    Mommy!: Take the Almal doll - 5000
    In each level there is an alma doll. Follow the dedicated guide to find them.

    Ghost Offender: Kill 5 ghost soldiers with the G3A3 AR - 2500
    Ghost Cowboy: Kill 5 ghost soldiers with the Strader MK.VII - 2500
    Ghost Hoser: Kill 5 ghost soldiers with the MP-970 - 2500
    Woah! I know Kung Fu: Kill 3 ghost soldiers with any melee attack - 2500
    Buster of Ghosts: FE: Kill 5 ghost soldiers with the Fettle Blast - 2500
    Ghostly Cover-Up: Kill 5 ghost soldiers while in cover - 2500
    Head Dead Redemption: Kill 5 ghost soldiers with headshots - 2500
    Nightmare Ninja: Repel the creep 3 times without getting hurt - 2500
    Hurt Him!: Damage the giant creep - 2500
    Nightmare Warrior: Damage the creep 3 times before it disappears - 2500
    exorcist: Kill 6 Ghost Soldiers in slow motion - 2500
    Lucio Dreaming: Kill 3 Ghost Soldiers during a single slow motion - 2500
    Possessive: FE: Kill 6 Ghost Soldiers while possessing - 2500
    Substitute Killer: FE: Kill 2 ghost soldiers during a single possession 2500

    The Ghost Soldiers are the ones who appear in the final part of Interval 8.
