Hajime Tabata: reflections on the past and official opening of JP GAMES

Hajime Tabata: reflections on the past and official opening of JP GAMES

Despite the success of Hajime Tabata is undisputed, that of his latest work - which is somewhat reminiscent of the end that took place in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain - was not so definitive. It was in fact followed by his estrangement from Square Enix, from the cancellation of the scheduled DLCs, and then from the announcement of the opening of JP GAMES.

Now his adventure continues, and the game designer has decided to do so by reflecting on 2018, the year now over.

    "2019"

    Happy New Year to everyone!

In 2018 I was honored by the support of so many people. At the same time, I realized that I may have been bothering others. So I apologize for any inconvenience I may have caused you over the past year. Instead, I thank anyone who has offered me their support over time. Thanks again.

This year I will update myself first. I will give time to learn from people and I will meet all those I have not had the opportunity to meet until now. When I'm done, I'll throw myself headlong into my new job.

I was really touched by that large number of people who showed me support, even though I had just fired from a huge company. So, thank you again and I promise you that your expectations will be confirmed.

Finally, I want to thank everyone who posted kind comments on my profile. I am extremely honored - and it goes without saying - to have received so much strength from your words. Sorry if I have not replied to all, but I have received so many messages and I have not been able to read them all, but slowly I will.

Having said this, I ask you to continue supporting me for 2019! I really hope this new year becomes a great year for all of you.

Immediately after, Hajime Tabata he also posted a couple of photos related to his new studio, stating that the official opening is set for February 1, early next month.

The terror of the fans however remains on the direction it will take: in fact it seems that many have requested a Hajime Tabata to remain faithful to the oriental video game development mentality, and not westernize it, a motivation that its supporters define as the reason for the decay of Square Enix in recent times.
