Halo Infinite: the director of the first three chapters will lead the project

It often happens in the gaming world (and not only) that key elements of successful projects abandon the creatures they helped to grow and then return to them after many years. This is the case of the protagonist of this article, Joseph Staten. After directing and writing the first three chapters of the glorious saga of Halo, Staten has decided to return to work on the franchise and provide their skills for the development of the highly anticipated Halo Infinite, whose arrival is scheduled for 2021 su Xbox One, PC e Xbox Series X. This was communicated by the software house 343 Industries who is working on the new project on the saga of Master Chief. In a post published on its official blog (of which we report a small excerpt), the company announced how Staten will play the role of product lead.

As the Halo Infinite product lead, Joseph will focus on supporting the creative, talented and existing leaders of the campaign team and ensuring they have everything they need to create a great Halo game. His return to the franchise excites us and we can't wait to have him on board!

Staten also wrote and directed, on behalf of Bungie, also the sci-fi title Destiny. According to what emerges from the rest of the press release, it would seem that Staten's role is limited and of a fixed duration, probably aimed at completing the title, postponed due to non-compliance with the timing initially set by 343 Industries. The software house has finally made official that also Pierre Hintze, head of the editorial team of Halo: The Mster Chief Collection, will join the Halo: Infinite development team.

Halo Infinite, announced during the 2018 edition of theE3, it will be the sixth installment in the Halo saga and will also offer players a mode free-to-play multiplayer, like what happened with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare e Warzone. This means that even those who do not purchase the full game will be able to play this mode.
