Updating from the latter is child's play: you just need to click on the entry Library, located at the top left, then selecting the box of Fortnite (you may need to switch pages if you have many titles linked to your account).

At this point, if the game is already in the latest version, you can start it using the appropriate button startsotherwise you will be informed that you need to make a updating. More precisely, you will be able to check the download status from the section Download, present in the lower left. Once the program has finished the operation, you can safely start playing as indicated above.

Fortnite is not only widespread on PC, since it is also widely played on consoles. In this regard, in this chapter I am going to go deeper into the question PlayStation 4 (Fortnite is obviously also available on PlayStation 5).

Well, in this context you shouldn't have any problems at all, since the games are updated from the console automatically. So, just click on the box Fortnite, present on the main screen of the Sony console, to see if the game starts (and is therefore in the latest version) or if the downloading an update (which you can keep an eye on from the appropriate section).

In short, it's all child's play. The only advice I can give you is to possibly check that automatic updates are turned on on your console. To be clear, on PlayStation 4 you just need to reach the path Settings> System> Automatic Downloads and verify that the box is checked Application update file.

In this regard, generally from Xbox One proceed in this way: you reach the path Settings > System > Updates and downloads and check the box Keep games and apps up to date.

Clearly the software of these consoles is evolving, so there may be some variables, but I'm sure you won't run into too many problems, since it's all guided.

How to update Fortnite on Nintendo Switch

How do you say? Usually you usually use a Nintendo Switch for your raids on Fortnite? No problem, the procedure to follow is extremely simple even in this case.

To be clear, you just need to start in this case too, as is the case for PlayStation and Xbox Fortnite using the appropriate box on the main screen of the console and see if there is actually a updating to perform (you will see a warning appear on the screen in this case) or if you already have the latest version and can therefore play.

In other words, even on Nintendo Switch everything essentially happens automatically. The only aspect that I advise you to take into consideration is the classic option related to automatic downloads. In this regard, to reach the right page, just go to the main screen of Settings of Nintendo Switch and select the item System.

How to update Fortnite Android

If you are wondering how to update fortnite by phone, you probably mean to proceed from Android, as, despite the disputes related to commissions have led to removing the game from the google play store, it is still possible to play the Epic Games title without too many problems from this platform.

Well, if you have followed my guide on how to play Fortnite on Android or in any case you usually use the game in this way, most likely you already have the app on your device epic Games. Therefore, start the latter using the appropriate icon on the Home screen of the Android device or in the app drawer (the page where all the applications installed on the smartphone/tablet are present), then taking a look at the possible presence of the button UPDATE in the box linked to Fortnite.

If an update is available, all you have to do is press this button, waiting for the update to take place download. The same, by the way, also applies if you have a Samsung device and you have downloaded everything from the Galaxy Store digital store, as it also passes through the Epic Games app. In short, as you can see, understand how to update fortnite from mobile it's not that complicated.

Essentially, therefore, the video game can no longer be downloaded and updated "normally", but you have to go through alternative ways. This is where the aforementioned cloud gaming comes into play, more precisely the service Xbox CloudGaming.
