Avoiding any unnecessary spoilers, let's say that at some point in the Chapter 2 of the game, inside the prison you will have to solve a puzzle by interpreting the symbols found on a wall. Here is the solution:

To complete this puzzle, start by interacting with the Sun / Moon symbol on the wall near the door. Look around and you will notice the 2 signs that are seen on the card / clue with Roman numerals below.

One will have II (2) and the other will have X (10), just add the two numbers to get the solution, that is the number XII (12). Then interact with stone XII which is on the same wall where you dropped into the cell.
