Mortal Shell: A new sequence shows the game's Parry

Over the past few days the developer Cold symmetry officially announced his work Deadly Shell, which is deliberately inspired by the genre of Souls-Like patented by from Software. The new title hasn't been particularly thorough since the announcement, although we know it will arrive towards the end of the year for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Today, however, the software house has decided to publish on the game's official Twitter page a new, very short excerpt relating to the gameplay of the work, which we are attaching below.

In the very short short film of about 10 seconds it is possible to see an interesting mechanic that will undoubtedly be present in Mortal Shell: the Parry. This is certainly very similar to what is seen in the titles of From Software, and allows with the right timing to interrupt enemy attacks by carrying out a particular counterattack. Specifically, it is possible to see how the character managed to impress the enemy with a grenade with delayed effect, which creates a fireball after a few seconds from the interruption of the attack, and which could perhaps be replaced by further effects in the adventure .

For now it is just a detail, which we hope will soon be expanded in the course of the communication dedicated to Mortal Shell, which has just begun and is still its primordial phase.
