No More Heroes 3: the release has been postponed to 2021

Thanks to the health emergency caused by the pandemic resulting from the terrible covid-19 disease, there have been many games that have seen their release date postponed a few months after arriving in stores. Among these is added, sadly, too No More Heroes 3, a hack-and-slash title of Grasshopper Manufacture presented to The Game Awards 2019 and which was to be released exclusively for Nintendo Switch at the end of this year. We had to use the imperfect verb because, in the last few hours, the creator and director of the game Goichi “Suda51” Suda has released a brief official statement on Twitter (which we have reported at the bottom of the article) in which it announces the postponement of the action game next year.

Suda51, in apologizing to the many fans anxious to get their hands on the title, admitted that despite all the efforts made by the members of Grasshopper Manufacturer during the period of lockdown, the road-map for the development of the game sees the software house in net delay compared to what was previously estimated, due to the limitations that characterized the period of greatest diffusion of the coronavirus. Now, with the possibility of being able to work with less constraints and in greater freedom, the software house has decided to postpone the release and dedicate itself to quality improvement of the game. At the same time, Suda Goichi announced the entry into the staff of Grasshopper Manufacture's Darick Robertson, who will take care of the realization of the official artwork for the game. Although the announcement of the postponement of a game is never good news for fans, it is certainly to be appreciated the intention of the development team to want to provide a title of excellent quality at the cost of postponing its arrival in stores. At this point we just have to wait for more information about No More Heroes 3 which, we remind you, will be released exclusively for the hybrid console of Nintendo.
