PlayStation 5: Tim Sweeney responds to UE5 tech demo allegations

During the Game Summer Fest a pleasant tech demo of U su PlayStation 5 which specifically turned to 1440p with 30fps. Although the work was generally appreciated by fans and the entire community, some users thought that it was a simple marketing gimmick, which would have seen a collaboration in secret between the famous development house and PlayStation 5. Precisely in the last hours the CEO of epic Games, Tim Sweeney, wanted to respond to the accusations in this regard with a short tweet in which he clarifies and reiterates the reasons that led the company's upper floors to the decision to show the demo on PS5 instead of on PC:

What's the problem? We showed the demo on PlayStation 5. During Jeff's stream I clearly said that PS5 has an amazing and advanced storage architecture. We also said that Nanite and Lumen technology will support PS5, XSX and high-end PCs. I don't speak Mandarin.

As we explain better in our article, Sweeney himself stated in an interview that "the world of loading screens is now over" especially thanks to the use of the SSD, which as we all know will be a particularly new element that will be introduced in the next gen.
