Praey for the Gods: new release date for the spiritual heir of Shadow of the Colossus

No Matter Studios shared a new development update for the spirit heir of Shadow of the Colossus, Praey for the Gods. According to what emerged from DSOG, the development team has decided to take a little more time before releasing the game, so the new launch window should be expected between the middle and the end of April. But that's not all, in fact, in addition to having revealed the new release date, the development team has revealed several news on Praey for the Gods, focusing in particular on content and boss fight. In the fall of 2020, we released a trailer for the announcement regarding the PS5 edition of the game, with the aim of releasing a version 1.0 in the first quarter of 2021. We are close to that expected window. In fact, we could have released the game this March, maybe sooner, even with all the issues we faced, but we thought it best to refine it a bit more instead of releasing an imperfect build. We plan to release the game in mid / late April.

There will be really huge final boss battles, both from a technical and a content point of view. We were also able to work on a number of backlogs and add quite a bit of new content focused on story / lore / quests / collectibles. In some ways, Praey for the Gods version 1.0 might seem like an expansion pack for those who have already played the current Early Access version. Then we are quite proud of what we have achieved so far

Looking forward to learning more about the latest effort by No Matter Studios, we point out that Praey for the Gods is already available for purchase on PC and should debut by the end of April also on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, in the latter case taking advantage of the features of the new Dualense, such as haptic feedback and adaptive triggers to give the player unique and deeply immersive sensations.
