The release of the famous survival sandbox Rust on console it has made itself desired over the years, but now the long-awaited has finally been revealed launch window. With the name of Rust Console Edition, the new version of one of the hottest survival games of recent times will arrive on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the spring. The announcement was made by the team of Double eleven (who developed Minecraft Dungeons and Prison Architect) working on the project, and by the developers of Facepunch Studios. The release is expected following a phase of beta testing behind closed doors, which has already started, and after which the differences from the PC version will be explained to the players.
The purpose and general characteristics of the title will not, however, be distorted. Those who join this open world will have to to survive against hostile forces, fight against hunger, thirst, bad weather, increase your equipment and skills, build shelters and fortresses to get safe, create alliances to strengthen your defenses, assault and raid. There is a large number of items to craft, including weapons, bombs, and traps, and players geared towards the PvP they will find bread for their teeth. Rust Console Edition will leave a lot freedom to users, who will be able to decide the approach that suits them best to go on in the adventure and explore the game world.
Rust was released on Steam in 2013, and the first announcement of its landing on consoles dates back to the end of 2019.
