The Lord of the Rings: here's what the Amazon TV series could tell

Nothing is known about the TV series yet Amazon dedicated to The Lord of the Rings: the date has yet to be announced, while the themes and historical period are shrouded in mystery. A tweet a few days ago, however, put one on the net map of Middle-earth, accompanying it with the phrase “Three Rings to the Elven Kings under the shining sky”, first part of the poem of the rings. The network then exploded into a riot of theories, taking past and present rumors and creating various and valid alternatives: here they are.

Before the map there was often talk of Thorongil, young wanderer protagonist of the series: for the uninitiated, this was the nickname of Aragorn, one of the main protagonists of the trilogy. This prompted fans to think of a sort of Game of Thrones style, with all the events of Gondor and Rohan. All this until the advent of the map.

This in fact translates the events, thanks above all to the verse of the poetry of the rings, to the second era, thus focusing everything on Sauron. It could in fact tell the escape of Sauron after the defeat of Morghot, both the whole process of creating the rings of power, complete with the fall of Numenor and the great battle between Elves, Men and the fearsome Sauron.

Nobody knows anything yet, and nobody excludes that the series could take the path of the anthology, telling something different every year. For now, these are just rumors: which one do you believe?
