In a previous article dedicated to Dynasty Warriors 8, the new chapter of the (long) series conceived by Koei, we have seen that once again the developers did not want to lack a certain variety in the choice of playable characters.

In this guide we deepen the topic by going to see what needs to be done to unlock all fighters in the game.

In Dynasty Warriors 8 for Xbox 360 and PS3 there are 77 playable characters in total, of which 63 must be unlocked by continuing to play and 14 are available immediately.

In the following list we indicate character by character what needs to be done to unlock it.

When "What if" is present it means that the indicated level is found only in this story. When the wording "Extra" is present it means that they are characters to be used in the Free mode (no Ambition mode).

Jin

    Deng Ai: Complete Stage 5: Battle Of Dongxing.
    Guo Huai: completate lo Stage 4 (Extra): Battle Of Han Zhong OPPURE Stage 5 (Extra): Battle Of He Fei Castle.
    Jia Chong: Complete Stage 5: Battle Of Dongxing.
    Wang Yuanji: completate lo Stage 1: Battle Of Wu Zhang Plains.
    Wen Yang: completate lo Stage 11: Battle Of Jinge.
