From fox to grapes

A first television adaptation of Locke & Key, with an entire pilot for the series attached, saw the light in 2010 by FOX. Things did not go the way they hoped and FOX decided to abandon the project. Prominent figures from the world of cinema took part in this, such as josh Friedman (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Crossbones) to the script, e Alex Kurtzman e Roberto Orci (Now You See Me, The Amazing Spider-Man 2) as executive producers. During the Comic-Con of San Diego of 2011, the pilot episode of the series was screened, not only to see the response of the public, but also to find potential buyers. Unfortunately it did not happen that way. for the next three years there was no mention of this series until 2014 when there was talk of transforming the series, originally conceived for TV, into a film trilogy that again saw Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci in their roles as executive producers. Unfortunately, even in that case, the project ended up being trashed. Two years later, however, the digital platform Netflix bought everything and immediately ordered a first season consisting of ten episodes. This new “chapter” of Locke & Key has brought together many characters from the last failed project. The directing of the series was initially offered to Andy Muschietti (It, It: Chapter Two), which for other work commitments was forced to decline the offer. Later the production decided to entrust the direction of Locke & Key to Michael Morris (Better Call Saul, Shameless, House of Cards). Jackson Robert Scott (It, The Prodigy) Connor Jessup (Falling Skies) ed Emilia jones (Doctor Who) will be the protagonists of this series and will play the role of the three Locke brothers, that is Bode, Tyler e Kinsey, while Darby Stanchfield (Mad Man, Jericho) will take on the role of mother Nina.
