In the past hours DC Comics announced the return of a six-episode animated mini-series titled Batman: The Adventures Continue. According to the press release from the publishing house, Paul dini will take care of the texts, while the graphics will be managed by Alan Burnett e Ty Templeton. As reported by EW, the mini series, due out next April, will feature new characters from the DC universe and never appeared in the cartoon that aired between 1992 and 1995, including: Jason todd, Red Hood, Deathstroke e Azrael. We report below what Dini declared:

We went from Dick Grayson to Tim Drake and leaving Jason out. Our intention is to see this as an opportunity to go back and actually get to know what was part of the Batman animated story. For the first time you will see that story and you will see what really happened. This is our chance not only to play Jason Todd but also the Red Hood. There are other characters like Azrael, who was popular in the comics, and Deathstroke, who we never used in the animated series.

Batman: The Adventures Continue # 1, by Paul Dini, Alan Burnett and Ty Templeton, will arrive digitally next April, as for the physical version we should wait for the 6st May.
