In this new guide dedicated to The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt we see what they are and where they are all the pieces of armor.

Bear armor pieces guide

In The Witcher 3 there are 4 different sets of armor:

Viper (Serpentine)
Griffin (Griffin)
Cat (Feline)
Bear (Ursine)

The missions that concern the finding of the pieces of armor are those called "Treasure Hunt" and are activated by finding one of the pieces of armor or the clues that lead to these pieces.

Bear - Normal
This armor is made of 7 pieces (4 pieces armor, 2 swords, 1 crossbow) and is found in Skellige (treasure hunt equipment "School of the Bear"). Simply find one of the required pieces by going directly to the location as shown in the video to start the treasure hunt and then continue with all the other diagrams. Bear - Enhanced
The Enhanced Enhanced version of this armor can be found in Skellige ("Bear School" treasure hunt upgrade diagrams). It consists of 6 pieces, 4 of armor and 2 swords (the crossbow CANNOT be upgraded). Remember that you can buy maps for this treasure hunt from the gunsmiths in Kraer Trolde and Oxenfurt. It is necessary to craft the pieces from the Gunsmith Factory after collecting the diagrams but remember that you must have already completed the "Normal" set in order to upgrade to this version. Bear - Superior
The Superior upgraded version of this armor can be found in Velen ("Bear School" treasure hunt, upgrade diagrams part 3). It consists of 6 pieces, 4 of armor and 2 swords. You can buy the maps for this treasure hunt from the Gunsmith in Kaer Trolde. It is necessary to craft the pieces from the Gunsmith Factory after collecting the diagrams but remember that you will need to have already completed the "Normal" and "Enhanced" set in order to upgrade to this version. Orso - Mastercrafted
The Mastercrafted upgraded version of this armor can be found in Velen ("Bear School" treasure hunt upgrade diagrams part 4). It consists of 6 pieces, 4 of armor and 2 swords. You can buy the maps for this treasure hunt from the Gunsmith in Kaer Trolde. After collecting the diagrams you can create the upgrade to Master Gunsmith in Crow Perch (Velen) and Master Blacksmith in Novigrad (near the harbor). Do their side missions to make them Master Gunsmiths. Remember that you must have already completed the "Normal", "Enhanced" and "Superior" set in order to upgrade to this more powerful version.
