Black Widow: theatrical release will not be postponed

In recent weeks we have witnessed the cancellation of numerous films in theaters and not only while as many films have been made to slide again due to the global epidemic from Coronavirus which does not allow, or even prohibits, the possibility of entering cinemas or having the normal work activity in certain movie sets close to the numerous affected areas. No Time to Die or Mission: Impossible 7 are just two of the most famous films that have slipped precisely for these reasons.

However, there are those who have decided not to get involved and not to postpone any date for their current or future projects. Indeed, Walt Disney Studios, did it know that the upcoming movie of Black Widow, which will debut on 29th April, will not be postponed. Objectively the decision made by Disney it is on the economic side really courageous as many cinemas in the world have had to temporarily suspend their activity in order not to create masses of people and avoid spreading the virus further, a choice that would result in a decidedly lower box office in the near future to what would normally have happened. If in a little less than two months the situation does not improve or in any case remain as it is now, the losses that Black Widow will suffer could be really many.

Black Widow, film dedicated to the figure of Natasha Romanoff, alias Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), will be set between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, the plot will see as a common enemy Taskmaster, Mercenary supervillain with techniques that allow him to copy each opponent's various fighting styles.
