Brink - Guide to complete all challenges

We have received many reports of users losing their minds trying to complete Brink's 3-star challenges, especially the factotum one.

So let's try to collect a series of tips and suggestions that could be useful to you in carrying out the undertaking.

GENERIC ADVICE

1) First of all we advise you to face the challenges with a newly created character. In fact, it seems that the higher your rank, the tougher the opponents you will find in the challenges. So put your character aside for a moment (if you have leveled him up) and create a new one that you will use to complete the challenges.

2) Some users claim (but NOT verified) that the difficulty of the challenges is also affected by the difficulty you set for the campaign missions. To be on the safe side then, select any mission from the Campaign and set the difficulty to Easy. Then play the challenges. For the series: Not true, but I believe it

3) Completing challenges is very important as this will allow you to unlock important weapon upgrades. If you also want to unlock the Achievements and Trophies related to the challenges remember that you have to play alone, otherwise you will not get the achievements / trophies.

RACING CHALLENGES
They are certainly the simplest challenges. Personally I completed all 3, even the 3-star one, on the first try (albeit with a good dose of luck since there was only one second left). The 3-star challenge of the race is shown in the video below.

DEFENSE CHALLENGES
This is also quite simple and won't take you much time. The important thing is to unlock the skill that allows you to place turrets for the technician. Use it extensively along with mines. If the turret is damaged, repair it. Remember that if you run out of ammo, you can refuel by accessing the outpost (so capture it immediately at the start of the game). STOCK CHALLENGES
The game starts to get tougher. Try to always stay close to the robot otherwise it will stop, but if it is necessary to take cover from enemy fire go away, if the robot is damaged you can always repair it. When you see the outpost capture it, it will be useful when you run out of ammunition, in fact you can only refuel from the outpost.

FACTOTUM CHALLENGES
This is the most difficult challenge. You will have to complete a series of objectives while your teammates remain focused on the opponents. Follow the general advice above. The 1 and 2 star challenges are accessible, while the 3 is the toughest. The following video shows how to complete the three-star challenge.
