Acer unveiled his first courses Chromebook Saturdays on the platform Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c: these are the models Chromebook Spin 513 (CP513-1H / CP513-1HL) and Chromebook Enterprise Spin 513. The new models are characterized by an ultra-portable design and by their fast and efficient performance, with high autonomy and optional 4G LTE connectivity. In addition, Acer unveiled the Chromebox CX14 and Acer Halo Smart Speaker.

Acer Chromebook Spin 513
Acer Chromebook Spin 513 is equipped with Snapdragon 7c platform with Qualcomm Kryo 468 8nm octa-core CPU which ensures excellent multitasking performance, with improved system responsiveness. The excellent quality of graphics performance is ensured by integrated graphics Qualcomm Adreno 618, particularly suitable for playing online and streaming video. The autonomy is equal to 14 hours, thus ensuring operation for a whole day of work or study. Connectivity 4G LTE is optional and ensures users can access the Internet without worrying about the Wi-Fi connection. Wi-Fi connectivity is still present and is 802.11ac type with 2 × 2 MIMO technology.
Acer Chromebook Spin 513 boasts a durable aluminum outer shell and elegant as well a Corning Gorilla glass display and touchpad that resist shocks and scratches. Plus, the ultra-thin bezels allow for a 78% screen-to-body ratio, which keeps the focus on 2-inch full HD IPS13,3 touchscreen display. Chromebook Spin 513 has a weight of just 1,2 Kg, for a thickness of 15,55 mm. The dimensions are almost identical to those of a normal sheet of A4 type paper. This model comes with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X SDRAM and up to 128 GB of storage space and also has an optional backlit keyboard, which aids productivity in a wide range of lighting conditions. A pair of hinges that rotate 360 degrees gives users four modes of use: clamshell, tablet style, display only, and curtain mode for presentations.
Acer Chromebook Enterprise Spin 513
The Enterprise model is primarily intended for companies and for large-scale device management. Acer has also unveiled the Chromebox CX14 which turns out to be one compact solution with multiple connectivity options; a great choice for labs and classrooms, for families and small businesses. The new Chromebox can be purchased with the Chrome Enterprise Upgrade. The design of the CX14 saves space by including everything needed to deliver a fast and powerful Chrome experience. This computer is equipped with Intel Core i7 up to 4th generation processor. Chromebox CXIXNUMX comes with all the ports you need to connect to multiple displays and peripherals. It has a maximum of five USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, plus one USB 3.2 Type-C and two HDMI ports. The device also has Intel Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and an RJ45 port for a fast Internet connection, both wired and wireless. Chromebox CXI4 installation is simple: it can be attached to the back of a monitor using the optional VESA mounting kit, or position it independently and secure it with a Kensington lock.
Acer Halo Smart Speaker
Finally, the new Acer Halo Smart Speaker is presented as elegant and customizable device, designed to complement or stand out in any environment. The compact size allows you to place it anywhere. Smart Speaker Acer Halo is equipped with customizable RGB lighting and is capable of sync with music to create the right atmosphere. Being one of the first Google Assistant compatible smart speakers with DTS sound, Smart Speaker Halo delivers rich, high-quality sound, spread across 360 degrees. A optional LED display allows you to check the time or get information on the weather and Google Assistant is integrated: with a simple "Hey Google" Halo will activate for playing music, podcasts, news and will be able to answer specific questions from the user.
