Cyberpunk 2077 updates, hotfix 1.12 released for PC

For weeks now CD Project Red is continuing to fix and update cyberpunk 2077 after its launch didn't exactly go as expected, and after the release of hotfix 1.11 just a few days ago, today the Polish development house has decided to release another small tweak for their open-world RPG . With the release hotfix 1.12 happened just in the course of this morning exclusively for the PC version, the Polish software house has fixed some serious problems related to the game code discovered just in recent days, mainly due to the mod download for the title downloaded unofficially.

With this hotfix CD Projekt Red made it the system of application of the mods is safer within their new sci-fi title, which due to its lack of care on the security front has exposed many users to risks that some not exactly reliable sites they had hidden inside the game files, and therefore put the computers of many fans and enthusiasts at risk. By installing this small patch it will therefore be possible to stem this flaw that has arisen since the mods were implemented within Cyberpunk 2077, without running the risk of losing all your progress and bailouts.

However, do not expect improvements in terms of graphics or performance, this small hotfix was released only to allow players to download and use the mods with more peace of mind. Waiting for a new, more substantial update from the Polish development house, we remind you that Cyberpunk 2077 is available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One e Google Stadia, while an upgrade for PlayStation 5 e Xbox Series X / S, although an official launch window has not yet been announced for the moment.

This update addresses the vulnerability that could be used as part of remote code execution (including save files):
