    By the light of a candle, in the darkness of a cold room, we ask for your attention: terrible curses, ancient creatures, terrifying missions await you in Darkest Dungeon: The Board Game, board game inspired by the Darkest Dungeon videogame developed by Red Hook Studios. At the end of the Kickstarter campaign, launched by Mythic Games, are missing now around 24 hours. The collection of donations is close to 4 million euro (3 million and 812 thousand to be exact) compared to the minimum target that had been set in 255.576 €. The video game, released in January 2016 on PC and MacOS, then made its debut a few months later on PlayStation 4 and PS Vita, totaling about 8 millions of copies sold, between basic versions and the various DLCs available (three in total: The Crimson Court, The Shieldbreaker and The Color of Madness).



    The developers today posted on the page dedicated to the Darkest Dungeon: The Board Game Kickstarter campaign Pledge All-In (with relative instructions on how to get it). For $ 100 you can get the Dungeon Pledge, for $ 150 the Crimson Pledge and for $ 330 the all-in named Pledge Ancestral Pledge which includes the following contents:

    • The Weald
    • The Color of Madness
    • The Musketeer mini (free to donate by the Kickstarter campaign deadline)

    In Darkest Dungeon: The Board Game, players will take part in aadventure consisting of 11 episodes, divided into 4 acts, where players will be asked to pay particular attention to the dangers generated by the grow with madness and pain, emotions that make our heroes "simple humans", certainly courageous, but still human. The madness, as those who have entered the terrifying dungeons of the video game know, it is always ready to wrap the hearts and minds of those who decide to leave on a mission. To reach the infamous Darkest Dungeon players will have to undertake 3 missions for each threat level and then arrive in the presence of the Boss. Will you be the heroes who will have the better of evil, eliminating its own source that, perfidious, dark, evil, lurks underground?
