➤ David di Donatello 2020: here are all the winners of this edition 🎮

The prizes have been delivered tonight 8 May 2020 David di Donatello of the coronavirus era: the winners were revealed live by the presenter Carlo Conti to the numerous nominees present electronically, a sad testimony of the difficult times we live in (those of social distance, fear and isolation), but also a declaration of strength, a moment of hope for the cinema, anxiously waiting to start over .

Undisputed winner of the David di Donatello evening The traitor of the teacher Marco Bellocchio, which won 6 statuettes: Best Film, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Actor (Pierfrancesco Favino), Best Supporting Actor (Luigi Lo Cascio) and Best Editing.

The first king by Matteo Rovere and the Pinocchio by Matteo Garrone won the technical and artistic prizes respectively, while Martin Eden by Pietro Marcello is satisfied with the award for the best adapted screenplay.

There were also some surprises in this edition of the David di Donatello: an astonished Jasmine Trinca wins the award for Best Actress for Ferzan Ozpetek's La Dea Fortuna, the very young Phaim Bhuiyan wins the award for Best New Director for Bangla, while the documentary Selfie by Agostino Ferrente exceeds the highly rated The mafia is no longer what it once was, directed by Franco Maresco.
