As you well know, on 10 December 2020 on the occasion of theInvestor Day, The Walt Disney Company announced the arrival of many new products that will soon enrich the catalog of Disney +, adding to the already present brands branded Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar and National Geographic, that of STAR, a new category that will host various productions by Disney, 20th Century FOX and so on, aimed at a more mature audience. Mickey's House has recently unveiled the complete catalog of the new collection, which will be included for all subscribers to the streaming platform starting from February 23 2021. With 42 TV series, 249 movies and 5 exclusive Star Originals in attendance at launch, new titles will be added to the service each month from Disney Creative Studios, including Disney Television Studios (20th Television and ABC Signature), FX Productions, 20th Century Studios and many more. others.
Among the various contents that will enrich the catalog of Disney + we find a lot of content Star Original, including the crime thriller Big Sky, created by visionary storyteller David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies, The Undoing); Love, Victor, the spin-off series of Tuo, Simon written by original film writers Isaac Aptaker (This Is Us) and Elizabeth Berger (This Is Us) and the animated sitcom Solar Opposites, co-created by Justin Roiland (Rick & Morty) and Mike McMahan (former assistant writer at Rick & Morty). Drama series too Helstrom, whose executive producer is Paul Zbyszewski along with Karim Zreik and Jeph Loeb, eGodfather of Harlem, written by Chris Brancato and Paul Eckstein, starring Forest Whitaker, will be available at launch. Other projects that will debut in 2021 are the series Dopesick and The Dropout, new content from Kardashian Jenner, as well as FX Original titles, including The Old Man. Finally, we remind you that starting from the next 23 February 2021, Disney + will undergo the first remodeling of the available subscription plans, going from € 6,99 to € 8,99 for the monthly subscription, while the annual plan will go from € 69,99 to € 89,99. Current subscribers to the service (Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Canada) will not suffer any price changes for 6 months. The new tariff will come into effect from the next August 23th, 2021.
