Who owns Instagram you will surely have noticed how the well-known social network has implemented a new policy regarding likes to posts. In fact, for some time now the like numbers have disappeared that are put on the photos; in practice when we put a reaction to a photo, if we first read how many people liked it for some time it is no longer the case.
Following this move will now be Facebook, the largest social network in the world that will implement the exact same line regarding likes. As announced a few weeks ago, Mark Zuckerberg has decided to remove all kinds of likes. Some users have reported that this "test" has already begun. In fact, as reported by TechRadar, in the Australian country an increasingly large number of subscribers will no longer be able to see the total number of likes on posts.
However, this function is only valid for other people's posts, while in your own it will still be possible to know the number. Same goes for reactions and views of public videos.
Why has Facebook decided to change this "activity" that so much affects every single person? The reason is very simple, Zuckerberg has decided to focus on quality content eliminating the mental pressure caused by the various counters which in many cases could push users to like a content exclusively based on the number of likes already obtained.
