Lo State of Play tonight could present many new features, including rumors that there may also be the new work done on the title Final Fantasy VII Remake, now called by all with the name of Ever Crisis. But what is this "Ever Crisis"? A leaker on 4channel presented the title in great detail, giving really interesting information and on which you can speculate a lot. Indeed, it seems that this may be one new edition, designed for both PS4 and PS5, with several graphical improvements and much more.
Final Fantasy VII Remake: Ever Crisis seems to be there updated and improved version of the base title released in 2020, but not only that, it could also have the addition of new functions and graphic improvements for PlayStation 5, but with also two new chapters, more precisely Chapter 8.5 "All Dressed Up" and a mysterious Chapter 19. New trophies would be added, the much desired Photo Mode, a faster change of Materia and a new boss with the addition of different areas and the Boss Select Mode , in which perhaps you can repeat the battles against the bosses, after having faced them. Of course then there are the additions that every PS5 edition must have, namely: the Performance Mode which provides an output with 1440p at 60fps and one Graphics Mode which will go to 30fps with the use of ray tracing at 1440p resolution, or to 4k.
A very specific launch date has also been planned which sees the new edition of FFVII Remake for on April 10 of this 2021, out on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, at a cost of € 69,99, with the possibility of pre-ordering your copy and having the “Butterfly Edge” for Cloud Strife exclusively within the game.
We just have to wait for the State of Play tonight and see for ourselves if what has leaked is reality or not. If so, it would be interesting to find out if the owners of the base game will be able to count on a free PS5 upgrade or not.
