Through their official Twitter profile, epic Games announced the arrival of the patch 15.50 for his battle royale Fortnite. In fact, players will have noticed that from 10:00 today (2 March 2021), the servers are offline, this precisely because of the new update that affects all the platforms on which the game is available. There are several news, which go from returns of old items to a whole series of fixes. Here is the list of the official notes released for this patch:
New additions to the battle royale:
- The hand cannon returns to the vault, while another item is about to return. Spread the news!
- New dimension of the island in creative, and the support will be localized!
Adjustments in battle royale:
- Snow-capped floppers now grant ice shield and feet
- It will never happen again that a Flopper will heal you without giving the frozen feet effect
- Cars now always deal damage on impact
- Cars will always constantly damage objects or players on impact
- Rift Fish and Jellyfish have been temporarily disabled due to problems, and therefore cannot be caught
- Total bars displayed as 0 when loading in correspondence with high latency
- Total bars will not appear as 0 when loading a high latency game
- Don't worry: the total collected bars are still tracked, but collecting them in games where they appear at 0 will not add them to your cumulative total.
- Fixed Split Screen issues with "Ready!"
- Split-screen players will no longer have a hard time playing another game together thanks to the "Ready!" which now works correctly
Mobile version adjustments:
- It will no longer be impossible to start or switch to creative mode
- We are investigating an issue that is causing some players to be unable to switch to Creative
