The filming of the last season, or the eighth, of Game of Thrones are ongoing, but for Emilia Clarke who in the series plays Daenerys Targaryen are officially concluded.
With a post on Instagram, the actress greets the TV series that saw her as protagonist:
I boarded a ship to an island to say goodbye to the land that has been my home away from home for nearly a decade. What a journey it has been, Game of Thrones, thank you for the life I could never dream of having and for the family that will never stop missing me.
The last season of the TV series born from the novels of George RR Martin will be broadcast in 2019.
