2018 has just started and the first level games, more or less famous, have started their "dance of the shelves". Among many various exclusives and titles awaited for years, there are titles that have had little to do with the spotlight, but that after having known them you certainly won't want to get lost! In fact, the risk is just that: missing out on some goodies that could turn out to be small masterpieces, perhaps only because with a media campaign behind them far below average. The purpose of this list is precisely to show you some games coming out in 2018, many of which will surely have escaped your attention given the amount of ads and content that arrived during the last year!

Agony

Agony is a very special title, developed by the Polish software house, Madmind Studios, which will be released on March 30, 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game is a survival horror in which you will live the experience of a poor soul, who will find himself catapulted into a reinterpretation of Lucifer's hell. During your journey to escape from this place, you will have to face macabre and disturbing settings and characters. The only way you can escape from this terrifying place will be to chase an entity known as the Red Goddess, about which you will know very little ... You just have to find out for yourself how to escape from this nightmare!

E

Title developed by the Iron Galaxy studio, E will arrive on PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One on April 10th. As humans fight wars to conquer land and riches, giant monsters watch in the shadows and plan the destruction of our species. This is the plot of the interesting game, in which you will play as Avil, one of the last defenders of the world, who thanks to his skills will have to oppose the waves of the Ravenii. The peculiarity of this game is the incredible similarity, at the level of game mechanics, with the Attack of the Giants (for example, even here you can run on the roofs of houses and then perform air attacks).

Project Wight

Little is known about this title, it should be released during this year, and the arrival is expected only on PC. The idea of the software house, The Outsiders, for this creation is to play from the point of view of one of those monsters who meet randomly during an adventure within a role-playing game. Project Wight He will then make you take on the role of those creatures who are slaughtered to receive loot and experience in exchange. As the co-founder of the team, David Goldfarb explained, his interest has always been directed towards the monster of the moment. We just have to wait for more news regarding this particular game.

Praey for the Gods

Another game that will arrive during this 2018! Praey for the Gods, title developed by No Matter Studios. The project stems from a KickStarter campaign, which launched last year, and is expected to arrive on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The indie in question is inspired by Shadow of the Colossus, in fact you will control a lone warrior, who will have to face a journey to the ends of the world to fight huge creatures. The challenge in this game, in addition to fighting these giant creatures, will also be to try not to make our warrior die of hunger and cold.

Dreams

Dreams it will be a PlayStation 4 exclusive and of course PlayStation 4 Pro due out later this year. The game is developed by Media Molecule, the same ones who produced another very famous title or Little Big Planet. In the game you will have the opportunity to create your dreams and fantasies, in order to share them with other "dreamers". In fact, you will have objects, sounds, models, stories, environments, gestures, adventures and music at your disposal. What the Guildford guys wanted to create is a creative experience, which will allow you to give space to your imagination. Despite this, the title will still have a campaign, which will last 5 hours, and will be used to accumulate materials, objects and ideas that you will need later to give life to your creations.

Moss

Moss is a title that can be played starting February 27 with PlayStation VR, and is developed by Polyarc. The title is an action-packed puzzle game that was created specifically to be played through virtual reality. Like any successful title there will be compelling characters, thrilling battles and exploration of all environments. The game's plot centers around a young mouse named Quill, who has big dreams, and which go beyond the community she lives in. One day an ancient power awakens, and Quill will connect to you, from now on you will become an active part of the story. You will go on a journey through myths and magic, in which the narrative will be very fairytale, all this while a distant threat looms more and more.

Graveyard Keeper

Directly from the creators of Punch Club arrives, during 2018, this particular management program in which you will have to take care ... of a cemetery! The game will be available on PC and Xbox One. Title with a very different style than the other games we have presented to you so far, Graveyard Keeper it still makes a good impression with its colorful and very retro graphics'. As mentioned before, we will be the guardians of a medieval cemetery, and as in any self-respecting management system, you will have the opportunity to build, expand and improve your cemetery. Inside your cemetery there must be no shortage of fun, in fact you can organize parties in which you will burn witches, but you can also scare the inhabitants of the nearby villages!

Greedfall

Another title coming out during this 2018, Greedfall is developed by the software house Spiders Games, and will be released on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In this title you will find yourself in an imaginary 1600, populated by buccaneers, mercenaries, monsters and dryads. The protagonist will have the opportunity to govern the vessels, also because the whole adventure will be set on an island. Your goal will be to recover a medicine, which serves to eradicate the epidemic that has broken out among the population. Greedfall, however, is not the classic action role-playing game that Spiders Games has accustomed us to, but it is more of a slow-paced title, in which it will be possible to fully explore all the settings, to look for clues and deepen the mythology of the game.

Book of the Dead

Book of the Dead is an interactive experience, showing the features of Unity 2018. The game was developed by the award-winning Unity Demo Team, who wanted to combine elements of movies and games. The environments are built in a way that allows the player to move and explore freely, the camera is in first person and when the player is teleported to a different location, the transition feels like a cinematic cut - the camera is definitely the highlight. The height, speed, and shake reflect the protagonist's emotional state and change as the player progresses through the story.

Fe

Very particular game for its graphics and game dynamics, Fe will arrive on February 16 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The thing that differentiates this game from the others is that the story will have to be discovered through the discoveries you will make during the game experience, in fact there will be no help or texts of any kind. You will have to face the forest of the North and explore its living ecosystem, full of secrets and mystical creatures. You will be able to communicate with these creatures through the verses you will learn from animals, by doing so you will be able to manipulate and make friends with any creature ... and even with plants.

This was the last on this list dedicated to hidden gems coming out in 2018.
