    Some sagas are eternal, others are not. Assassin's Creed play incredibly in between, between the two factions, moving from time to time with innovative gameplay choices and completely wrong decisions. We could try the Gamescom this year the new Assassin's Creed Origins, a title that comes out two years after the previous one, thus breaking the positive exit line that Ubisoft had imposed on the brand. These two years, although they are not enough to be able to produce a title that is finally new in its genre and not a simple change of location of the previous iteration, have nevertheless led to a semi-revolution in terms of gameplay, and since the contact with the pad has he understands.

The new protagonist moves in a slightly different way, making everything more dynamic and fluid: the fights change the action keys, expanding the game dynamics with light hits, heavy hits and the mythical parry. This choice, a bit carried over by other competing titles that over the years have wanted to create something new, now pushes the saga of Assassin's Creed to look for new aspects never visited. Yet the fights, in their soul, remain in that state of quiescence and ease that unfortunately will not add spice to the dish that Ubisoft wants to serve.

The horse is back for fast travel, and this time the approach to the water will be much more complete, thanks to the possibility of exploring all the ocean floors (and not just some parts like Black Flag). Even the weapons will be of free choice, and will allow you to approach each fight according to your own criteria.

The question remains whether all this can relaunch the series, which for some time has not been as fresh as it once was, or whether this attempt will also be in vain.
