There are many innovations present at the Gamescom 2018 of Cologne and, after testing several interesting titles, we found ourselves faced with Soulworker, an MMO that merges various Hack and Slash elements and features a strong artistic component typical of Korean video games.
At the beginning of our adventure we will be able to choose between six different characters: Haru, Erwin, Lily, Stella, Iris and Jin; each character will have weapons and talents at his disposal that will make them different from each other. Even in terms of gameplay the choice of a character will have different implications in the story, this is because some NPCs will only show sympathies for certain heroes.
Great customization possibilities!
Developers of Soulworker, given the impossibility of changing the appearance of the characters, they wanted to give the player the opportunity to customize your hero to the fullest offering him the possibility to change his clothing, his emotes and even the furniture present in the house. During our tests we tried a new Haru grown from her experiences, with a new look and new weapons and abilities. During these testing phases, only this new character is available, but Gameforge has already stated that it is working to expand this feature to the rest of the roster.
Gameforge also stated that a PvP mode will also be released in the future which will allow us to form a group of four players with which to challenge the opponent's parties or simply to dedicate ourselves to this mode in a wild single player. Of course, new cities are on the way, new dungeons and also… listen, listen…. new characters! What do you think of this title?
